RoomAdda – Rules & Regulations

Effective Date: 1st April, 2025
Applicability: These Rules & Regulations apply to all bookings facilitated by RoomAdda between residents (“Tenants”) and accommodation providers (“PG Owners”). By using RoomAdda’s services, you agree to these terms.

 


 

1. Onboarding & Payment Policy

1.1. To reserve a bed/room, the Tenant must pay the Room Blocking Amount, which is non-refundable and varies depending on the PG.
1.2. The remaining Rent and Maintenance must be paid within 48 hours of check-in.
1.3. No resident will be allowed to move in without completion of the RoomAdda booking process, including payment of applicable charges and submission of required KYC details.
1.4. Rent is due in advance. No refunds will be given for early check-out or cancellations.

 


 

2. Rent & Maintenance Policy

2.1. Rent and Maintenance charges must be paid within the first week of every month.
2.2. If a resident joins mid-month, rent will be pro-rated for that month.
2.3. Late payment penalties (if any) will be PG-specific and communicated at the time of booking.
2.4. Maintenance fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
2.5. Rent may include electricity and food if applicable for the PG, unless otherwise specified.

 


 

3. Security Deposit Policy

3.1. Security deposits (if applicable) are refundable, subject to PG-specific conditions such as clearance of dues, no damages, and return of issued items.
3.2. Refund timelines and processes are determined by the PG owner. RoomAdda is not responsible for refund delays.

 


 

4. Guest Policy

4.1. Guest rules are PG-specific and communicated at the time of booking.
4.2. Some PGs may restrict opposite-gender visits to common areas only, or require prior approval and payment for overnight stays.

 


 

5. Tenancy Duration

5.1. If the agreed tenancy term (e.g., 6 months) ends, continuation of stay and rent amount will be subject to mutual agreement between the Tenant and PG Owner.
5.2. RoomAdda does not guarantee or manage tenancy extensions beyond the original contract period.

 


 

6. Pre-Booking & Cancellation Policy

6.1. The Room Blocking Amount is non-refundable, regardless of cancellation reason.
6.2. No refund will be given if the Tenant cancels the booking or fails to move in on the confirmed joining date.
6.3. By booking, the Tenant confirms agreement to these terms and provides accurate payment information.

 


 

7. Scope of RoomAdda’s Role

7.1. RoomAdda helps Tenants find PG accommodations, facilitates communication with PG owners, and provides verified listings.
7.2. No brokerage fees are charged by RoomAdda.
7.3. RoomAdda is not responsible for PG condition, disputes, or arrangements between the Tenant and PG Owner.
7.4. RoomAdda’s role ends once accommodation is booked.

 


 

8. Policy Changes

8.1. RoomAdda reserves the right to amend these Rules & Regulations at any time without prior notice.
8.2. Updated terms will be applicable immediately upon publication on RoomAdda’s official channels.
