Who We Are
RoomAdda is a student-first accommodation platform, built to simplify and streamline the PG and hostel discovery experience for students and young professionals across Bangalore.
Founded by two third-year students from Christ University, Bangalore, RoomAdda was born out of first-hand experience — shaped within the four walls of a modest PG room. Like many others, we faced the common yet overlooked challenges of urban student life: misleading property listings, unresponsive landlords, poor living conditions, and unnecessary brokerage fees. What should have been a simple process became a frustrating, time-consuming ordeal.
Determined to change that, we built RoomAdda — a platform that prioritizes transparency, trust, and support. Our mission is clear: to empower students and working professionals with access to verified PGs and hostels, without the noise of fake photos, hidden charges, or unreliable intermediaries.
We’re not just another listing site. We’re building a reliable, scalable solution to a real problem — one that we’ve lived ourselves. RoomAdda is more than a startup. It’s a mission — to make student living better, safer, and smarter.

Shewtank Kesarwani
Co-Founder · Property & VerificationShewtank comes from a family rooted in textiles and real estate, where he gained an early appreciation for property and a strong sense of social responsibility. His own struggles navigating Bangalore's fragmented student housing market — including a grueling 1.5-hour daily commute from Whitefield — sparked the idea for RoomAdda.
Today, he oversees property onboarding, verification, and quality control, working closely with PG owners to ensure every listing meets real, livable standards.
Vansh Bansal
Co-Founder · Operations & GrowthVansh hails from a business-oriented family, building a solid foundation in operations, logistics, and systems thinking from an early age. What started as a passion project in college soon grew into a full-fledged startup under his operational leadership.
At RoomAdda, he drives end-to-end execution — overseeing customer workflows, backend systems, and partner coordination — shaping the platform into a seamless experience for students and PG partners alike.
