RoomAdda – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between the user (“User”, “you”, “your”, “customer”) and RoomAdda (“RoomAdda”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing, browsing, or using our website, mobile application, or services (“Platform”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must refrain from using the Platform or Services.

 


 

1. Nature of Services

RoomAdda is an online platform that connects Users seeking accommodation with paying guest (PG) properties, hostels, and other residential options (“Accommodation Providers”). We do not own, operate, or manage the listed properties. Our role is limited to facilitating the discovery, shortlisting, and booking of verified accommodations, as well as arranging property visits.

Accommodation agreements are entered directly between the User and the Accommodation Provider. RoomAdda is not a party to such agreements.

 


 

2. Rent and Security Deposit Disclaimer

All payments related to rent, security deposits, maintenance charges, or other fees (except the Room Blocking Fee where applicable) are made directly between the User and the Accommodation Provider, unless otherwise explicitly facilitated through RoomAdda.

RoomAdda does not determine, control, or guarantee the amounts charged by Accommodation Providers and is not responsible for any disputes arising from such payments.

 


 

3. Property Visits and User Responsibility

RoomAdda may arrange and accompany Users for property visits. However, Users are solely responsible for:

  • Assessing the suitability of the accommodation;
     

  • Reviewing and understanding the Accommodation Provider’s rules, policies, and terms;
     

  • Verifying all commitments made by the Accommodation Provider before finalizing any agreement.
     

RoomAdda will not be liable for any dissatisfaction, loss, or inconvenience resulting from the User’s decision to proceed with a booking.

 


 

4. No Agency or Tenancy Relationship

RoomAdda acts solely as an intermediary and does not:

  • Own or manage properties;
     

  • Grant tenancy or possession rights;
     

  • Assume obligations under any rental or license agreement.
     

All rights and obligations related to the accommodation are governed exclusively by the agreement between the User and the Accommodation Provider.

Even if RoomAdda assists with communication, coordinates property visits, or facilitates payments, such assistance does not constitute RoomAdda taking on any contractual or legal obligations on behalf of either party.

 


 

5. Platform & Listing Disclaimer

RoomAdda takes reasonable steps to verify the authenticity of listed accommodations, including in-person inspections and owner verification, to ensure that only verified PGs are listed.

However, details such as pricing, amenities, photographs, and availability are provided by Accommodation Providers. While we aim for accuracy, RoomAdda does not guarantee that all listing information will remain complete, accurate, or up-to-date at all times.

In case of discrepancies, misrepresentations, or changes after booking, RoomAdda shall not be held liable. Any such issues must be resolved directly between the User and the Accommodation Provider.

 


 

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoomAdda, its employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
     

  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill;
     

  • Disputes or issues between the User and the Accommodation Provider;
     

  • Any injury, theft, damage, or loss occurring at the accommodation.
     

In any event, RoomAdda’s total liability to a User for claims arising from the Services shall not exceed the total Room Blocking Fee or any other fees (if any) actually paid by the User to RoomAdda in connection with the booking in question.

 


 

7. Changes to Terms

RoomAdda reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform or Services after changes are posted will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

 


 

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
